Bank Account Data (via Plaid)
If you connect a bank account, we use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to facilitate secure access. Your bank credentials are entered directly with Plaid and are not stored by Pip Tech. Information received from Plaid may include account balances, transactions, and institution details.
Brokerage Account Data (via Alpaca)
If you open a brokerage account, your account is held at Alpaca Securities LLC. Alpaca collects identity verification and suitability information in accordance with KYC, AML, and securities regulations. Pip Tech may receive account balances, positions, trade confirmations, and performance data necessary to provide platform functionality.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to: 1) operate and maintain the Pip Tech platform, 2) facilitate brokerage services through Alpaca 3) enable financial data access via Plaid, 4) provide analytics and reporting, 5) detect fraud and ensure security, 5) comply with legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information.
4. Information Sharing
Information may be shared with: 1) Alpaca for brokerage account management and regulatory compliance, 2) Plaid to facilitate financial account connections, 3) Mary and Pip Investments LLC for advisory services where elected, 4) service providers supporting hosting, security, and analytics, 5) regulators or authorities as required by law.
5. Data Security
Pip Tech maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, logging and monitoring, and secure development lifecycle practices.

We retain personal information as long as necessary to provide services and comply with regulatory obligations. Brokerage and advisory records may be retained in accordance with SEC and FINRA requirements.
